A drop-in event is being held for people to see how they can apply for funding from a number of local and national organisations.
The Mid Copeland GDF Community Partnership is inviting people to take a look at funding opportunities and what support is available in helping to access grants.
There will be chance to meet representatives from The National Lottery Community Fund, Cumberland Council, Cumbria Council for Voluntary Service (CVS), Action for Communities in Cumbria (ACT) and Nuclear Waste Services.
The event takes place on Thursday, July 30, in Beckermet Reading Rooms, 10am-3pm.
Community Partnership Chair, Andy Pratt, said: “We’re really pleased to host this great event that brings different funding groups together in one place. Come along, have a chat with the funders and look at what opportunities are on offer.
“So far in Mid Copeland, the Community Partnership has been delighted to award over £4.5million in GDF funding to a wide range of projects in and around the Mid Copeland local community.”
